Report: EU might introduce embargo on Russian oil, gas

PARIS, Apr 21 (PRIME) -- The E.U. is not ruled out to introduce an embargo on Russian oil and gas, spokesman for the French government Gabriel Attal told France Info on Thursday.

"There is such possibility. We have always said that we are ready to go as far as possible in sanctions," Attal said.

Spokesman for the French Foreign Ministry Clement Beaune said earlier that the E.U. and the U.S. would target the Russian energy sector in new sanctions to be introduced in several days.
